It looks like summer has arrived and Healthy Me Healthy Communities has been getting in the festival spirit for adding that feel good factor into your everyday life.
The eating well course at the Anson Community House will help with their street party celebrations with sharing food on Saturday 28th June – have a great day! The HMHC team are still buzzing from a great few days at the Manchester Mela in Rusholme making South Asian inspired jewellery and accessories – great hobby for relaxing and reflecting.
We are proud to be supporting NEPHRA Good Neighbours with
their new film clubs with residents of New Moston enjoying the fabulous ‘Saving
Mr Banks’ and after film discussion with an amazing cream-tea. Film Clubs are a
great way to connect, get together and make new friends.
Healthy Me Healthy Communities has been busy working hard on new projects and we
will be soon launching ‘Social and Security’ partnering with the Birch
Community Centre in Rusholme – a community-space for reducing isolation and
building resourceful communities. Thinking ahead, we have a new programme of
enterprise and training courses starting September. More soon on www.healthymehealthycommunities.co.uk
and Twitter HMHCmcr.
But back to summer with the Healthy Me Healthy Communities family passport of activities at Fallowfield
Children’s Centre with some really fun cooking, creative and craft workshops
for happy and healthy Fallowfield families.
So let’s toast summer and the start of more great things to
come.
