Rusholme Social Cafe

Rusholme Social-Café, every Wednesday, 1-3pm at the Birch Community Centre, Brighton Grove, Rusholme, M14 5JT. It is open to everyone and provides a place to meet, chat and enjoy a range of activities for free with help yourself refreshments available for a donation. No need to book (unless stated) – just come along.

Regular activities include crafts, gardening, cooking and reminiscence workshops along with new workshops planned by café members. During the next few months we have the following planned activities:

6^th April                 Trip to Hulme garden centre (leaving Birch Centre at 12.30pm; please book)

13^th April              Queen’s birthday craft workshop

20^th April              Queen’s birthday celebration

27^th April              Trip to Trentham Gardens Estate (limited places; please contact us)

4^th May                 Cooking with Jill

11^th May               Nutrition talk and workshop with Ruth Morgan

18^th May               Cooking with Jill

25^th May               Open session: crafts, gardening, sewing

1^st June                 Campaigning talk with James

8^th June                 tbc

15^th June              Planning the July – September programme

22^nd June             Open session: crafts, gardening, sewing

29^th June              Canal boat trip (sorry fully booked)
