Activities and community café space for the over 50s and for everyone at the Birch Community Centre, Brighton Grove, Rushome, M14 5TJ

 

Social & Security is a different type of community space. Everything that happens here is about making a fantastic relaxed and supportive community space to meet-up, un-wind or talk community! It is run by and for its’ members.

·         “Making a community café” creative craft group

·         Community space for meeting friends, making plans and community organising

  Sunday Social is a community co-produced service by Healthy Me Healthy Communities and Birch Community Centre, funded by the Manchester's Clinical Commissioning  Groups (managed by MACC)

To help sustain our activities and community-space we levy a small charge of 3p per minute for the time you spend with 'Social & Security' (£1.80 per hour/ maximum charge £3). This includes activities, drinks, snacks and free wi-fi, and of course meeting lots of nice people!
