More Food Works

Some great news, we have been successful in securing new funding to pilot the NEW 'Food Works' project building upon our successful Cookery Champions courses.

The new 'Food Works' project improves

  • health and well-being
  • skills
  • prospects for finding a job.
The Healthy Me Healthy Communities Apprentices with learn about healthy-living, practical cooking skills and facilitation skills for delivering community food workshops as volunteers and paid-staff.

We will be starting September in Beswick and Gorton, and we are working hard to secure more funding to expand Food Works across Greater Manchester.

Fallowfield Fast-Food Recipe Flyer

Hello,
We are a group of Fallowfield residents and we have been making and testing fast-food dishes that are not only good for you but good for your bank balance too!
Included is a fantastic family curry, a tasty chow-mein ideal for 1 and a quick cheesecake. All of our recipes, like the Mexican wraps, can be loaded with your favourite vegetables, helping you and your family to your 5-a-day.
We have enjoyed the course and we hope you enjoy making some of our favourite recipes.

Here is a look at our work!

Bon Appetit!
